We are currently recruiting participants for various research studies. We are seeking participants between the ages of 18 and 75 who are in good health. Individuals from all backgrounds and levels of education are invited to inquire about participation.
In addition, we are looking for individuals, age 18 to 75, who have significant memory problems related to medical conditions such as stroke, encephalitis, cardiac arrest, brain injury or brain surgery. To be eligible individuals would have significant memory problems, but should not be suffering from other cognitive problems such as dementia.
Unfortunately, we are not able to treat or diagnose mental or medical problems. If you are concerned about your health, please contact your doctor.
Participants are seen at the Human Memory Lab on the UC Davis campus. Participants take part in various types of studies, ranging from simple computer-based tasks to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies. The length and type of studies an individual is eligible to participate in is determined through a brief prescreening interview that can be completed over the phone.
Participants are compensated at a rate of $15 per hour for their time in the lab and transportation.
As mentioned, we have a brief prescreening procedure that can be completed over the phone; simply contact Trevor at tlbaer(at)ucdavis(dot)edu or (530) 754-9439.
